Hearing....

Who is this "Me?" This is the Supreme Person speaking. The best way to control the senses is to offer all activities as a service to God. This purifies the senses so that there is realization of the difference between spirit and matter.

The best way to fix the consciousness on God is to "hear" about the Supreme Being. This hearing awakens the original consciousness and we start to remember our lost spiritual identity.

Someone did that for me. I was in a down place for a while and very unhappy. They took me aside and said one on one, "There's nothing wrong with you. The only thing wrong with you is you have no faith in God." Hearing that from someone who was speaking from their own realization really did something for me. I actually could hear her words echoing in my heart... God, God, God... My life turned around at that point.
