Sometimes an unhealthy relationship isn't recognized right away. But after some time it becomes more clear that there is manipulation and power struggle going on. As well a kind of stalking and dependency.
I don't know of anyway to explain to the other person that this is what I am experiencing with them so the best thing I've found is to quietly and politely disappear.
