Jiujitsu Blackbelt Promotion
So excited and blessed to receive my BJJ blackbelt from my friend and teacher Danny Suarez! I started this journey at the age of 18 and now I'm 39 years old. Its been a long, difficult and beautiful journey that has helped me become the person I am today. I wish that everyone could train jiujitsu because the world would be a much better place! Jiujitsu gives me my daily dose of adversity and humilty that in turn makes me want to treat people better. Ultimately the battle is within yourself and not the opponent. It doesn't matter if you win or lose, all that matters is that you are brave in your attempt. Quote: Adversity is like a strong wind. It tears away from us all but the things that cannot be torn, so that we see ourselves as we really are. Osss

I agree. I know that personally Jiu Jitsu has taught me more than martial arts/self defense. It gave me discipline, confidence, and a healthier lifestyle. Congratulations on your achievement.

One day you will have that feeling. The fastest way to get better is to do more Jits. My best advice is to come early and stay late if possible. Some of the best techniques I learned was after class just talking to my coach :)
Don't ever settle for average when you were meant to be great!
