3 Korean Dishes You Gotta Try - Kimchi Stew / Korean BBQ / Glazed Pig's Trotter

in #kr7 years ago (edited)

Hello fellow Steemians^^

I have been away from my home country, South Korea for over 13yrs. The most hard part when you go overseas is that you gotta change your taste (many of you who staying overseas for a long period of time would agree to this).

Also, It was not easy for me to get used to western food for a while and when you are struggling over something you are looking for a way to get over it. What I did was to make a note of a list of a home dish (so i dont forget^^;,) that I would like to eat when I go back home. Here are three of my favourite Korean dishes that I was dying for.

Kimchi Stew (₩13000)

Kimchi stew is a staple food in South Korea. Koreans eat it at least once or twice a week, typically in winter season I eat it 4~5 times a week.

Korean BBQ (₩10000/250g)
I think anything cooked on grill just taste better :)

Glazed Pig's Trotter (₩30000)

During the time I was staying at overseas, I could find those two dishes in the above but I couldnt find this one!! Recently I started drinking soju (before I didnt drink) and this one suits best if you wanna drink soju

I love "Kimchi Stew" too! , but my most favourite Korean food is "Soybean Paste Stew (doenjang jjigae)"!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks tasty. I always like having different things to pick from. Makes me feel spoiled :) @jingdol
