I invite all my friends to the third week of Steemit Challenge Season 27. I hope everyone is well. Alhamdulillah I am also well. In the third week of Steemit Challenge Season 27, our beloved @suboohi mam has brought us the awesome "Desserts From Fruits And Vegetables" competition. I am very excited to learn another new dessert this week of the competition.

Yes, I have tasted sweets made from vegetables. Vegetables are full of nutrients, and sweets made from vegetables are more delicious and nutritious. I always love to explore new things in cooking and I love to arrange some new items for my family on their plates. Carrots are a very favorite vegetable of everyone in my family, young and old, so to make carrots a little more delicious, I almost make carrot halwa, carrot barfi, carrot nadu, etc. with carrots. All the ingredients used in making these vegetable sweets are very beneficial for our health. Apart from tasting vegetable sweets, the nutrients present in sweets increase the immunity of our body against various diseases. That is why I like vegetables made sweets very much.

Today I will share the carrot cake recipe. I have prepared the necessary ingredients for the carrot cake recipe in the required quantities.

Step 1:

To make carrot cake, I took a fresh carrot. I peeled the carrot and washed it very well with clean water. Then I grated the carrot with the help of a grater. I kept the grated carrot aside.

Step 2:

Now to make the cake batter, I took three eggs and one cup of sugar in a mixing bowl. Then I mixed them and kept stirring continuously. I beat the mixture until the sugar melts and turns into a foamy mixture. I beat the mixture very well and made it foamy.

Step 3:

Add half a cup of cooking oil to the foamy mixture prepared for the cake. Then beat the mixture well for another 1 minute so that the oil mixes well with the dough.

Step 4:

At this stage, I took a sieve, added 1 cup flour, 1 tablespoon baking powder, and half a tablespoon baking soda to the sieve and sifted it. This way, when sifting the dry ingredients and using them in the cake, there will be no lumps.

Step 5:

After sifting the dry ingredients, I added 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence. Then I stirred all the ingredients together very well.

Step 6:

Once the cake dough is ready, I will add the grated carrots in the last step. Then I will mix the carrots and dough well again and prepare a perfect dough for carrot cake.

Step 7:

I took a mold to make the cake, prepared the mold with a little oil. Now I poured the dough prepared for the cake into the mold, then set it in the mold.

Step 8:

After setting the cake in the mold, I spread some more grated carrots, cashews and almonds on top. Now the cake is ready to bake.

Step 9:

I put a pot in the oven and preheated it for five minutes. Then I placed the mold on a stand, at this stage the oven heat will be low. I will keep the oven heat low and wait for 40 minutes, after which the carrot cake will be baked perfectly. After forty minutes, I will remove the lid of the pot and check with a toothpick whether the cake is baked well. When the cake is perfectly baked, I will turn off the oven heat.

No, I had no difficulty in making this recipe, because I have made cakes several times before. I followed the same method to make today's carrot cake. But to be honest, I was a little nervous, since I baked the cake in the oven. I was a little worried whether the cake would bake perfectly in the oven. But my worries turned to joy in an instant when I saw the final look of my cake, it was very fluffy. I was satisfied with the final look and taste of my carrot cake, it was as beautiful to look at as it was delicious to eat.

What are nutritious benefits of your dessert?

This week of the Vegetable Dessert Competition, I made carrot cake. In making carrot cake, I used carrots, eggs, flour, sugar, almonds, etc., which provide our body with various vitamins. The vitamins, fiber and antioxidants in carrots help keep our eyes healthy and protect the body's cells. Through carrot cake, vitamins, fiber, potassium, iron provide nutrients to the body, which is very beneficial for the body of children. The fiber in the flour used in the cake makes us healthy and strong. In addition, the calories in the oil and sugar are nutritious for our body. The fiber and vitamin E in cashews and almonds help us control our weight, prevent cancer and keep our heart healthy. Needless to say, carrot cake is full of nutrients that play a very effective role for everyone, young and old.
