Composing an Artistic Archetype for guitar players and the pupil's philosophy

The Artistic Archetype
First, think of painters and paint. For sound is the same. Another aspect is that people when they look at paintings they dont see the painter. You can do with sound what painters do with sound. You can be abstract in your own way, to achive this the key is to listen. What does it mean to listen? Can you follow a song listening to it for the whole duration of it.

Combination of chords equals chord progressions. Each chord holds the root of a scale. Scales are divided into modes, like Frank Gambale, a beautiful jazz improviser is saying (Rick Beato interview) modes are better called moods; One reason why this is so, is that it helps the player to identify the right resonance between the scale and the observer of the player.
The same chord progression when arranged on different rhythms, with patience, the value and uniqueness reaches new boundaries, this later to be seen as another way for composing. Allow Time to make you to listen to your recordings. this is called polishing the song. Beautiful harmonies are the perfect home for improvisations. Attention to the notes from which the chords are constructed paves way to solo compositions. Its about the song not the player or the instrument, with this in mind infinite creative ideas arise for the observer to catch. A downtempo rhythm gives way to beautiful breaks of the measure which shows the door to a change in genre in real time giving color to the song and curiosity to the listener. This catches the attention of the listener because the present notes arrive unexpected, many times a wrong note opens way to a new lead. Its like two elements that are merging together, cluster of notes, accidental notes and curiosity merging together.
It is a great tool to use for the player because it is one of the tools that kills the boredom in the song.

What are chord progressions trying to say?

The notes in the chord are your trambouline for your next solo improvisation. Carefully listening to them, you are observing an emotion that resonates with your body, mind and spirit. Looking at the scale with root in the chord progression, in conjunction with the genre of the song, the appropriate starting solo point appears as appropriate.

The downtempo cultivates the calm, the harmonious chord progressions the compassion and the clarity of vision, all working together to generate a flow of creativity.

The practice of chord progression in loops for more than 5 minutes without stopping. This exercise allows the mind to enter 'rock stance' mode. Have you ever wonder how a mountain is sitting and waiting for millions of years for the eyes to admire?

This practice is a very powerful tool, it cultivates mindfulness and curiosity in ways you never felt before, trying let the chords be as they are by not looking at the chords shape and instead layer the mind on the musical theme created by the chords. For example take two simple chords Csus2 and Dsus2 (www.oolimo.com is a good tool for interactive chord progression composition and chord finder). and practice them in a loop for 5 minutes without mistake. If you land a wrong note, keep going. Remember this is hardwork and don't forget to mention this with others. Your rhythm of learning is unique, priceless, worthy. You are this way as well.
Counting the chord change settles the time signature.

Tip 1
For when you can't explain where you creativity went
Reflect on past encounters both in person and "places where the mind went in the near past" to heal the subconscious and to bring it back to where it feels harmonious and creative. For this we try to meditate at home, while walking gazing at the sky in a beautiful park, while driving.

Tip2
A glorious night with friends and the emotional feeling of the child at play regains terrain in the present. The songs went out beautifully. Few days later the songs start to sound different, you don't recognize them the same way. Meditate rewind and replay from the last beautiful event to the present. Don't let anyone judge you. They will always be critics, bad and constructive ones but keep in mind that most are really really bad.
