By now everyone should know that no matter what “diet” or “eating structure” you follow, you need a lot of protein. I’d suggest anywhere between 0.8-1.2 grams per lb of body weight.

What that means is that you’ve got to try to get it in each meal and snack. Even then you might need to supplement a bit. Your best bet is always eating good quality, whole foods though. If you need a bit more though, don’t be afraid to supplement a bit. And no you’re not “doing protein” it’s NOT an anabolic steroid 😂😂

Above are some great, high protein options for whether you eat meat, are vegan or need to supplement. .
Note that I put lentils, beans and chickpeas WITH a serving of rice. The rice compliments these products well because it has a high methionine content, balancing out their low content of this amino acid.
