Karma Revero On The Road

Karma Wha?

While driving on the freeway today, I was surprised to see a Karma on the road. At first, I thought it was the few defunct Fisker Karma out there. Upon closer inspection, the car dawned a different badge and just had KARMA across the back. This was the new Karma Revero! Equally bad, if not worse, as the original Fisker Karma. It's been on sale since sometime in 2017 and not see on the road by many and definitely not making any headlines in the news. Come to think of it, this unit isn't even a sold unit, it has a manufacture's plate.

The Fisker Karma / Karma Revero functions similiar to the Chevy Volt. Main drive is electric with a gas motor onboard to function as an electric generator. Nifty idea to appease those afraid of the seemingly limited range of electric cars at the cost of extra weight and complexity.

To my knowledge, the Fisker was bought out by an investor soon after declaring bankruptcy and has supposedly been mismanaged. It's sad to see how a once Tesla competitor has fallen so far. Hopefully, the next revision will be better received as this company once had so much potential.
