Why do most most men gain after marriage?
Men who give up on themselves after marriage.

You might think this is an easy answer but it is much more complex. Single men tend to move around a lot, unrestricted, unbound and do not have to answer to anyone. Basically, a primal being. A hunter.
The alpha male maintains his lifestyle while married , stay on course and influence his mate.

The question: how can you resolve the kitchen syndrome?

hey, nice post, i can somehow relate. I been married for a little over 4 years, i started noticing my lack of outdoor exercise. in the past i was really active, in fact i was running 5k marathon. am hoping to hit the trail this spring.

for me i just have to stay focus, its not easy but and possible with the right mind set

being focus is extremely important. It's not easy as your get older, and have a family. I have made it point to make time for myself to workout. At times, it may be difficult, you just have to push!

Interesting question! I like your analysis on single men. I agree with you that married men are stable. They do have a consistent schedule. They eat regularly, and may lack the time to exercise. As family life, take over their schedule.
The best way to resolve this issue, is to have couples working together. Once you see that your mate has gained weight, it's important to support each other, by going to the gym and working out. Perhaps, changing your diet, and not cooking healthier food. Great post!
