Butterfly macro photography
I was lucky enough (it took extreme patience) to capture a butterfly that landed on a flower today using my Canon camera.
It would flap its wings every 45 seconds - 1 minute, thus it took previously mentioned patience to get more than one shot of it with it's wings open.
I still wonder if this particular butterfly is of a caterpillar I have seen through the lens of my camera, or of the cocoon I was recently lucky enough to see on a hanging tree limb. Unfortunately, i'll never know.
No matter the circumstance, today patience paid off.
What a nice butterfly! Excellent capture bro, keep it up.
very good photos, effort and your hard work in perpetuating the butterfly is worth the price
I totally understand how you feel when it comes to patience with the butterflies @jgullinese :) I also took some 2 weeks back. Check mine out here --> https://steemit.com/photography/@sueyin/leopard-butterfly

If it was worth it ... Extraordinary pictures! Thanks =)
Nature gives us the best background and this butterfly the most beautiful model. Nice picture.
This is amazing. I find that there is no better rewards than getting the shot you have been waiting for. When it happens to me I usually stop breathing for a few seconds, scared that I have lost the moment, even though I just captured it.
Always so nice.
