Bee aggressive, bee bee aggressive!
"Nature will bear the closest inspection. She invites us to lay our eye level with her smallest leaf, and take an insect view of its plain."
~ Henry David Thoreau
Early this morning, I was able to capture some macro photography shots of some insects. I used a Canon 80D camera with a 75 - 300 mm lens. The first shot is of a honeybee that was buzzing around. The second two shots are of a bumblebee sipping up some nectar from a flower.
I'm surprised at the immense amount of bees that I have seen this spring. Last year, it seemed as if there were not that many flying around. Whether that is because we had a wetter early spring last year, or because this year has been quite dry, I will not know. But I count myself lucky to have been able to capture these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat.
One love, @jgullinese
Bumblebee to me is only a transformer now :P
hahaha!
Great photo.
great photography... I think you need lots of patience to take this kind of photography...
Nice @jgullinese..
Nice photography
Beautiful flower
White flower, I love it
Its natural habitat is terrestrial air even if it does not find any vegetation, they can form their hives in unthinkable places, here there is a desolate bell tower and there, they formed their dwelling. In reality you are very lucky because it is difficult to get such good photo @jgullinese
Yes ... they have arrived rather earlier here too. But so many in Vancouver have gotten into the hobby of nurturing bees. It is a wonderful turn of event:)
