Cascades Adventure
Today I wanted to share with you some photos/ videos of a beautiful place near my university. It is in the western part of Virginia in a city called Pembroke. I went with both my parents, my girlfriend, and my dog Avery. It is a great hike that is 4 miles, 2 miles one way and 2 miles back. At the end of the 2 miles you reach a waterfall that is 70 feet tall!! It is so beautiful with spectacular views while you hike through the mountains. You can even climb to the top of the water fall but it's pretty sketchy (I am not telling you to do this). Swimming in the water is also an option if its not to cold. When the water freezes it is quite a spectacular view. I would definitely recommend this hike. It is not to long with an awesome ending of a waterfall.
