Walking through the canola fields. Alberta, Canada

Every summer Alberta turns yellow as the canola blooms. Walking through always makes for lovely pictures, but what no one tells you is that canola is itchy, it stains your clothes and farmers get pissed off when you walk in their fields. :)

Luckily this day, there were no farmers around and she was pretty patient.

I love how the fields just seem to line up. Lime | Lemon

Such a pretty sight. And lovely pictures. Have seen some Canola fields while traveling in Germany. They look so pleasant!

The look gorgeous...but they are itchy! :)

Absolutely amazing space.
Love the use of the red dress, just a little contrast makes all the difference.

Thanks! Yeah - the red really makes it pop.

Wow, never knew there was such a thing as Canola! What one misses living in NYC! That's not Canola as in the oil we can cook with, is it? Anyway, glad no farmers were around to ruin your shot and your wife is very cooperative. Beautiful!

The same. The plants are pressed for the oil. Grown all over here.
