🐘 Come and visit Pinayun-an Peak Mabinay, Negros Occidental " travel tips "

📍Pinayun-an Peak, Mabinay, Negros Oriental (Sea of Clouds ⛅️ or Mt. Pulag of the South?)

How to get there:

⛅️ From Dumaguete Ceres Terminal ride a bus 🚌 bound for Mabinay (tapos sabihin mo sa kondoktor Mabinay Terminal ho, with a smiling face) 3 hrs travel time 🙂

   💸 Fare: Php 115 (Non-aircon lang ako best, tipid-tipiran lang) 

   ❗️Reminder: If di ka sanay sa biyahe, magdala ka ng extra plastic in case of emergency. Dapat girl/boy scout tayo. 

⛅️ From Mabinay Terminal, find a habal-habal or tricycle that will take you to Batangay Bato and just explain to the driver that you're going to the Pinayun-an Peak.

   💸 Fare:  Php 25 (5 kaming lahat, so dpende lang sa negotiation nyo with the driver. Galingan mo ang mga tawad skills mo ) 

   ❗️Reminder: Be mindful of other habal-habal drivers cuz they might charge you higher than the standard rate which is between (P20-P50) 

⛅️ From drop off/ starting point of the trail, it would take 20-30 mins to reach the camp site/ "patag na lupa" wherein you can build your tent if you are staying overnight.

in our case, we decided to stay overnight so that we can easily climb early in the morning at the area wherein the you can really feel the clouds embracing your soul. You need to be early because sometimes the clouds could disappear as early as 7AM depending on the weather and the speed of the wind. So, better check the weather forecast before deciding to go there.

 ❗️Reminder: Trail can be always slippery so always be careful. Wear the right clothing (wag yung parang pupunta ka sa mall  hehe) 

⛅️ Lastly, you really need to ask some locals to guide you. Luckily we met the ever supportive and kind-hearted, Manong Nonoy (Contact Number: (0936) 724 0767) In return, you can give him any amount that you think he deserves. heheheh.. joke lng
