SEC-S18-W5: PHOTOGRAPHS AND EMOTIONS
- A warm greetings to all my dear steemians taking part in this contest and others which are yet to. I have a lot of photos in my gallery full with memories and motion, sometimes when someone takes my phone and go through my photos, I will have to sit behind them to narrate and explain the memories in those photos because they will definitely ask.
Seeing this contest which was organized by @teamvenezuela, I am so eager to participate, am going to show you three images from my gallery which has a great emotional impact in me, hope you enjoy as you go through.

This marriage ceremony took place in 20th, April, 2024, in life mor hotel. Although it's just a couple of months since she get married, am missing her already. Her name is Mrs Naomi Ekpo, She was my best friend and was like a mother to me because of the help am always getting from her anytime am in need, I learn a lot of things from her and also help her with things I can.
Most of the the time, we partnered together to preaching work, since she was a full time pioneer I learn a lot of things from her when we go to Preaching, she show me different ways of approaching someone, and how i can make my words sound interesting when talking to someone to get their attention, she was my mentor and a role model.
When she told me she was getting married I was really happy for her, because I was even praying for that lucking man to meet her. I engage in many things in the marriage ceremony, I help in distributing the drink and food to the visitor and attendant, it's was an honor.
Although am not seeing her again, or learning new things from her again, am not forgetting about those which I learn from her, I also called them sometimes, I know and am wishing them them a perfect happily marriage because she deserves it's, I'll try and visit her someday ,am always saving this photo for remembrance of her, anytime am passing through this photo in my gallery I remember her.

If I ever forget or delete images from my phone, I can't try such mistake to this photo, I was so happy on the day I took this photo. After hearing from my friend @ali001 about steemit platform, I was amazed with what I heard, and I was so eager to join but I had one challenge. I needed new phone which can capture very well and also good in browsing, but there was not enough money to buy it. Since I really had a great desire for steemit I raised some money and get a new phone but this took some months.
Another problem which I had was that I needed a mentor to support me and show me how the whole system works. So on this day, I had a convention to attend and here was where I mate my mentor, I was so happy that finally am going to start my journey on steemit platform.
He showed me everything that I needed to do as a newcomer to get verified on the platform, as soon as I got home without even taking off my convention clothes, I rush to the nearest supermarket get a cardboard and do my achievements 1 post I was so happy sincerely.
When ever I feel frustrated, week and discouraging in steemit, I remember this photo, I remember the joy I had that day and the reason for the joy, it's was steemit, this strengthen me and keep me pushing without falling back.

I took this picture to remember the first day younger brother start Preaching, my younger brother is an introvert a bad one to say and this makes him unable to take part in preaching service, He barely talk to people in public not to talk about looking someone in the eye when talking he get suffocated.
This makes it hard for him to go preaching, I tried hard, helping him on different ways like how to talk to people when you are nervous and how to even get rid of it, I also tell him some way he can use in preaching to someone without fear.
With all this he was still not motivated enough to go on preaching service, but I was surprised when on one Sunday morning when I was dressing to attend church, when he told me he wants to participate in preaching work. I was surprised and happy, there's nothing I could do to make me remember that day than taking and saving this photo it's brings joy to us.
