Strong Foundation in education for child

I am sharing true story of how things happen in my country (region). We must be better and qualified enough to even teach our children. But once the foundation is weak, I am sacred it may be hard to control

The story goes thus

A little girl when she comes home from school speaks English and most times practise what was learnt in school for the day, the parents are uneducated so are always happy their child is brilliant.

One fateful day, an uncle from far distance came to greet the parents as the child started her "as usual" revising and singing what she was taught and the uncle noticed an error in what she was singing. Will you believe it was hard to correct? Coz for every correction the uncle tries to make, the child shouts

"My teacher is correct "

"No, aunties (teacher) said it"

" I will tell auntie (teacher) you said she is not correct"

The parents were confused because they knew the uncle is educated but the child is still young yet arguing , they decided to go to the school and later found out that the error of what the girl was saying was due to what the aunties (teacher) teaches them. Measure were later kept in place to make sure the child learns correctly.

Moral

Check up on your child activities even in school and everywhere mostly when they are young.

THE FOUNDATION MUST BE STRONG
