Greetings fellow Steemians! I'm Jethro, 22 years old and I am currently in studying business in College. I am practically new to Steemit and hope that I can use this platform to share some of my insights and perspective on anything and everything.

I heard that the community on this platform was one of the best and most constructive there is! I am really so excited to be part of this community and hope that you all will slowly guide and welcome me throughout this entire journey.

My main speciality is actually in fitness or sport science as I have been hitting the gym for more than 5 years already. I have many workout regimes and diet recipes that I would love to share that could potentially help any individual achieve their fitness goals.

As a college student, I can give useful tips on how to budget when it comes to groceries as well as convenience when it comes to preparing tasty yet healthy meals (Healthy meals can be delicious too!!) In fact, here is a quick little protein pancake recipe I made not too long ago.

The ingredients are as follows:

  • 3/4 cup of rolled oats
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 scoop of protein powder (I have since stopped taking whey protein largely due to lactose intolerance and acne)
  • 1/4 cup of almond milk (or any milk you'd prefer)
  • 2 tablespoons of greek yoghurt
  • 1 whole egg and 1 egg white

For garnishes:

  • Any fruit and nuts to your liking (e.g. bananas, cranberries, raisins, almonds etc..)
  • A drizzle of manuka honey (or maple syrup if you don't mind the calories)

I believe that health and fitness does not have to be your priority, that means scheduling your day around exercising and keeping fit. However I do believe that everyone can fit in a little exercise routine every now and then into their daily lives, it doesn't have to be long, even a short 45 mins workout 2-3 times a week is decent. As long a conscious attempt is made to keep fit, eating unhealthy food would be the least of your worries!

Apart from fitness and meal prepping, I do enjoy music and travelling alot. Given the opportunity, I would love to share my experiences and the places that I have been to with the community, in the hopes that everyone would learn to love the different cultures adopted and provided by different countries.

Ultimately, I really enjoy doing what I do, fitness, music, travelling and believe or not, studying as well and I hope that through steemit, I will be better able to express myself and share my thoughts and information with the community. Thank you all once again!
