Intermittent Fasting and Drinking Water Really WORKS!!!
I have lost 22 lbs in 9 weeks. It is amazing how fast you can loss weight. This is a true story about myself. The human body is amazing. Give it proper nutrition and enough water and it will do the rest.
I needed and wanted to loose 22 lbs. I wanted to get back to my prime athletic weight of when I played pro ice hockey. I watched many You Tube channels about people drinking water and using intermittent fasting. There were people from all walks of life. There were way too many people claiming that this works. Their videos made sense. The same was the case with drinking water videos. I said, well, time to try it.
The process is easy. I started to drink 2 gallons of filtered water per day. I drank only water. This was great. Water helps to purify your body and flush out toxins. Drinking water also helps to suppress your appetite. Many times, people confuse their bodies signals of being thirsty with being hungry. The signals are similar. Just drinking water will help relieve some of the hunger signals.
Intermittent fasting is a process where you eat anything you want during an 8 hour window. You basically pick two meals to eat. Is it breakfast and lunch? Is it lunch and dinner? It is up to you. All you do, is then just do not eat or snack for the next 16 hours. I chose to eat lunch and dinner.
Was it hard? For me, yes it was at first. What was hardest for me, was my late night snack (usually a bowl of cereal). I had to fight the temptation to snack. It took me 3 to 4 weeks to resist the snacking craves. I noticed that weight started to come off after my 3 rd day. I DID NOT weigh myself everyday. I weighed myself only once a month. I could tell I was loosing weight by how my closes were fitting.
I also would jog everyday. I enjoy jogging. I always jogged and roller bladed when I played hockey for conditioning. I jog 3 to 4 miles everyday. This regular exercise would help to burn my body fat. If you do not like jogging, you can always walk, or use a treadmill or elliptical machines. You must, however, do some form of exercise each day
I found that the human body is very efficient. I can easily function on 1200 calories per day. There is no way I should have been consuming 2000 calories per day. My body does not need that many calories. When I realized that to burn off one Snickers candy bar, I would have to jog 4 to 5 miles, I knew I needed to reduce my calorie intake.
I reached my goal of 200 lbs ( I am actually 199 lbs now). I am 6'3" and 199 lbs is perfect. This was my prime weight when I played sports. I feel great. All of my clothes fit great. I look young again. I have energy and jog faster. I will continue my new eating pattern and exercise program. I have not gone back to my late night snacking. I am so happy that I have mastered my body and not given into cravings.
If you want to lose weight and get into shape, please try intermittent fasting and drinking water. It really does work!

So, if I understood this correctly, you would eat two meals, both within an eight hour window and then nothing for the rest of the day. So basically fasting 2/3 of each 24 hour period. In case congrats on the drop, 22lbs is a big amount.
That is correct. I had two meals within thin a 6 to 8 hour window. Then I had nothing for 16 to 18 hours (no snacks only water). The weight came off. Now I am used to only two meals (around 1200 to 1400 calories total). I love it. I look great and I run faster and more. I will continue this indefinitely.
Wow, that is awesome. I am going to try that, but I usually crack a little at night and have a small something. I will hold you as my example to look up too!
Great. It works. My biggest issue was my late night snack as well. I had to fight the urge every single night for 7 weeks. Even the smallest snack will break a fast. Try and be strong. I can not believe how fast weight does come off. I am still doing it everyday.

Yes you are right. I love it. I will never stop. This is my new life. I only need 1400 calories per day. The water is great as well. I can not believe how fast my wait dropped
