Earth is the only life-supporting planet in the known space and we find ourselves very worthy enough to endure life on Earth. Though we are fortunate getting a ticket to stay on mother earth, our deeds and greed are proving adverse for life on earth as we are in its continuous destruction. In a hope to increase the comfort level, humans have gone to large extents in the destruction of the environment. This to their surprise though delivered short-term satisfaction, the long-term carnage is being done and is on a continuous run in damaging without a clue of how the life-supporting planet is about to hit back.

Earth though is a life-supporting entity; the bitter fact is it is just a layer away in turning itself into a cruel place to live. A thin layer of Ozone is the only protective layer enclosing the earth. This thin layer separates us from harsh space that can prove deathly, the ozone layer makes sure that earth becomes hospitable amongst the ruthless environment of space. Though the layer is standing in between us and space it is on its verge of extinction and so are we. Once the ozone layer collapses, the earth becomes like just another planet in the space; ruthless and unpleasant.

The layer is very fragile and every precaution must be taken in securing the layer to secure our lives. Unfortunately, fossil fuels have become a big contributor to make lives comfortable and humans are in no mood to quit its usage and it also plays a very big role in drilling holes in the ozone layer. Fossil fuels are studied to be drastic as far as the global warming is concerned and this will eventually turn earth into a hell.
