The Diary Game 4-02-2024: Babysitting my Eldest Daughter
One afternoon, after my work at school, I was the one who babysit my baby because her babysitter is at the vacation.
She likes to eat rice porridge with milk. When I got home, my husband went to church with my eldest, while I was at home with my youngest. I changed my clothes and started preparing her food because it is already 4:00 in the afternoon.
She is in her 8-month young. She is not picky in foods and she's not hard to feed. She eat anything that her mouth touches. She don't want to sit in her feeding chair but she wants to lay on the floor with toys to play.
After she finished her bowl of rice porridge, I cleaned her. While she is playing, I cleaned the mess.
After eating, I prepared the baby carrier because I have decided to go outside. Since she is full, I bring her outside to enjoy the nature under the sun set. We had fresh air in our place because of the banana trees available and other trees.
When I babysit my daughter, I want to focus on her. This time it would be hard for me to prepare my dinner so I went to the nearby neighbor who sells barbecue pork. I went to their place and bring the rice my husband prepare.
As you can see in the picture above, I am settling down in the eating table with a two pork barbecue and 2 chicken intestine barbecue. With the help of my baby carrier, I can manage to eat. Sometimes it is a nice feeling when we eat outdoors, but much special when we have someone to eat with.
After I eat, we go home since it's getting dark. I prepared her sleeping bed and cleaned her before sleeping.
Being a babysitter is not easy, but it is veey special when it is yoyr own you are babysitting with. The trials and hardwork paid off and can't be paid by any amount of currency the happiness you feel when you are with your own child.

It's a pleasure to read about your daily life as a mother. By the way, our babies are almost the same age, in a week my baby will be 8 months too...
Parenting is not that easy, there are many things we have to give up even though they mean something to us, but what is clear is that our children mean more than all that...
