Sunlight on the mountain
The day has flown away, and
The sunlight has gone with it.
So has what little energy I had,
Flowing down the hillside
Of my existence.
I go now to take my rest, with
Hopes I Will renew.
That is the wonderful thing about life, we
Get another day to try again;
Not always, but most
Of the time we do.
Don’t let your happiness flow
Away;
Keep your sights on the mountain top, so
You can see the sunlight before it leaves the
World altogether at night, and before it
Shines on the world around you on the
Morrow.
Sleep well my loves, be at
Peace with all those around you.
This is my wish and my prayer
For you tonight.
These times
Make it difficult I know, but
We all should do our best.
Sleep well and dream of
Peace; sometimes
Dreams really do
Come True.
