RE: Music for Steem Week #5, "In the Mood" by Glenn Miller (and yours truly of course)

Hey there @owasco, I think the rules say it is video only.
Why do you think you can't upload? Steemit and Hive are not video streaming platforms, so you cannot upload TO either platform, so you must first upload to YouTube, Dtube, Vimeo or some other video hosting platform, THEN you can share the link here.
Good luck, let me know (in Discord DM or PHC) if I can help

I've tried to upload to dtube, but no luck. Never tried the other two. Soundcloud I spent a a couple days figuring out and met with success. It's been so long though, I'd have to spend another day remembering how to do that. It's tough being a little old lady.

Well if you can record a video, you should be able to easily upload to YouTube. If you have an account, if not, it is easy to create one. They'll ask for an email (gmail is best because it is google based as is YT)
They've changed some things recently, a few more hoops to jump, but still.
I had problems with dTube as well.
Soundcloud has about a dozen of my early recordings, but I almost never go there now days

Hi @owasco we would love to have you at the contest. Indeed a video is required although I would believe you on your word that the performance is yours. We do this to ensure the quality and honesty of the contest. YouTube is by far the easiest platform to upload your songs. You can login with your Google credentials in the youtube tab. On the Top right side you see Create. And then just upload in the creator studio like you would upload images to steemit. Hit us up on Discord any time if you need live assistance! https://discord.gg/ktayfEK

lol you've already lost me! I'll see what I can do. It's probably time, especially now that live music is pretty much outlawed. Thanks for the instructions.
