My glass is cracked, the air is leaking in.
My filament will be burned out
In a very short while.
I must get to bed before that happens,
So that I will be able to go out
In proper style.
May tomorrow see us all in a brighter world,
One where we as brothers
Can embrace each other in peace.
Let us make every effort, take every step,
To see that this can come
About;
Let anger and hostilities cease.
