"Let it wait"

My day has ended,
Many things I have done,
The night has fallen,
My bedtime has come.

I will look for the dreams,
Insides my eyelids, of
Dancing children
Through summer woods,
And picnics with friends,
In the warm shining sun.

Fare thee well and
Good night my friends,
Take your rest while you can,
The Day will begin tomorrow;
Let it wait until then,
There is time.
