my very first job was at a subway in 1995. I got my tongue pierced and they fired me. I didnt know but I could have sued for wrongful termination because that wasnt listed in the handbook. Back then it was just starting to be a trend to spread. It wasnt mainstream. I was a kid, knew no better. Haaa. But the year of 50 cent foot longs was the bomb while i worked there. 6 inch was 25 cents for employees. Haaaaa.
