Steem WOmen Club Contest #21 First DELEGATION CONTEST |

A Gloomy Wednesday, beautiful and strong women of this united community. This is me @jenny018 from Cebu, Philippines making my entry for the contest #21 which is the First Delegation Contest.

When you invest in steemit like buying steem, the best time to buy is when the price is low. Note on this that steem value is unpredictable so you have to save and collect your steem and it would be better if you power it up.
The value of your votes highly depend on your steem power so if you have plan on investing for long time then powering up your steem amount to steem power is a good thing to do.

Yesterday I joined the challenge in Power Up Contest and explain their every details on how to power up and convert it into #steempower and now let's do the delegation process too because this can do a lot for this is a big help to the whole community especially minnows like us.

Delegating our steem power to the community means giving value to the community, it means that by delegating we will get a support on them too. It's like helping the community to grow by using your steem power and in return you will gain also because you get a fixed monthly income without any hassle.

Delegation process.

But anyways, I really have a hard time in delegating last night for an additional of 100 steem power for the community because I thought that just by clicking the certain amount of 100 sp then it's done but it's not because you have to input the whole amount of sp that you wanted to delegate, in my case I have delegated early this month of a little amount of 50 sp so I have to input there during the delegation process is the whole sp which is 150 but I'm not doing the right thing because what I do is click on the delegation link the amount of 100 sp then after I checked my wallet my delegation amount does not appear in my steem power value. Thanks to Sir @juichi because he has helped me a lot on the whole process.

This is what my wallet looks like before I made my delegation.

I still have a steem of 17.916 so what I did I power it up first and then I went to the market to buy for an additional steem.

I paid 3.215 sbd for 55.517 of steem. The transaction in my wallet is cut not the whole 3.215 sbd as you can see in the picture but I did received the whole 55 sp in 30 minutes.

This is the market wherein I buy my 55 steem which is amounting of 3.215 sbd.

Click ok.

I already receive the 55 steem and since I am rewarded a 5 steem at @knopka's contest so that makes it a total of 60 steem in all.

Let's do powering up again. I power up the whole value of 60 steem and transferred it into steem power.

Click power-up.

Click ok.

This makes a total of 235 steem power but since this is not enough for the delegation so I make another transaction in my wallet and bought a 25 steem amounting 1.5 sbd in the market, after a few minutes the steem has been transferred in my wallet. After receiving the steem I powered it up the whole 25 steem to make a total of 260 steem power.

Since I hAve the exact value for delegating so my next move is the delegation process.

What I did is inputted my delegation manually. I login in steemworld.org/@jenny018, at the dashboard you have to look for delegations then click delegate.

Click delegate.

Input manually the whole sp value you wanted to delegate in a certain community. I entered the whole value of 150 which I'd love to delegate.

Enter your steem private active key password.

Then click continue and ok.

Yehey! At last I was able to make it. The transaction has been confirmed and done.

So happy that I finally made it.😍😘

This is now my wallet looks like. I have s steem power of 260 with a value of delegation amounting of 250 steem power.

I made a screenshot as a proof that I have delegated a 150 steem power on my beloved community #SteemWomen Club.

This is just the beginning of my new journey in #steemit as a delegator and as I often said I don't want to fly high alone but it's wonderful if all of us well soar high together. Together we are stronger and the more we are, the merrier we will be.

Why I trusted and delegated in this community? The #SteemWomen Club is the first community who has open their doors widely to all empowering women like me. The moderators as well as the Representative like in Asia is very accommodating and very friendly so that is why we can easily reached out to them telegram and discord if we have some queries or if we need to know something. Also, there are varieties of activities that you can perform and lots of contests are being initiated for us that helps us all in strengthening the co-relationship with the other members. The best thing is, me and my friends often get upvotes in these community which made us more motivated to do good quality content.

I have invited my friends to delegate also in the community good thing we have a group chat in facebook messenger so it's easy for me to open up and talk to them on delegation matter. This is the screenshots that I made in our gc conversation.

To sum it up, we talked about simple things which is the steem that we have save most are those rewards from the contest that we joined so far and some of the post that has been upvoted too. My friend @fruityapple00 is appreciating the community as well because she earned a little on the two entries that she was upvoted and she asked on how to join the new contest and how can she be qualified, I told her that since her sp is 80 so she have to buy out steem amounting of 3.5 sbd for her to have a total amount of 135 so that she can delegate a 100sp to the community. And I'd like to congratulate my friend @hae-ra because she was able to make her 1^st delegation of 100sp too. She's happy too because her post has been curated and upvoted as well by #SC01.
