I just wanted to take part in the new contest about our dream gifts for our mothers, especially that this month, we are one with celebrating their very special month. I would just like to thank @anasuleidy for initiating this kind of contest.

Well, as I could remember when I was like 6 years old, I hated my mother for many reasons like not bringing me to places she had to go to, not knowing that she just did errands, and also, not bringing me something like toys and food when she gets back, not knowing that she didn't have some extra to spend for those.

Moving forward, as I got older and let me say had become mature, I eventually feel the love that a child should have for a mother, the love that every mother deserves from the child she once carried inside her womb for 9 long months.

The mothers on earth had gone through a lot of things just to sustain and maintain the family that's for them is their only priceless gem in this world. That's why is just so fitting to honor them not just this month, but every day of their lives in ways we know. Their being a mother never stops and will never, even to the moment that we learn to stand on our own and somehow become independent as we call it.

And so, if I were asked what would be my dream gift for my mother, then it would be her choice, nothing but her choice, her choice of material things, or whatever that is.

I often have a reflective talk with my mother, especially when I got a lot on my shoulder that would seem to break me if not aired out. With these talks, I also was able to have all the opportunity to ask her what does she like in life. I learned that she just likes the basics - fresh air to breathe, own-grown crops and others, a comfortable little house, and to top them all, her children to settle the best life with GOD. My mother is not really into material possessions, I believe what's for her is just to experience the goodness of life that God has given her. With these that I learned from her, one of my dream gifts for her is a trip to places she has never been, especially those places that could be traveled via aircraft, since she hasn't experience riding any of that yet.

I actually have a lot of dream gifts for my mom, but the one that I aired out here excites me most. I always wanted to give my mom a memorable break as I call it, from the tasks that she repeatedly do in the house. It's kinda boring doing the same activities every day, and I just wanted to weather it with something new like bringing her and the family to special places where she could enjoyably relax with nature.
