William Nylander's Controversial Jersey change!

Nylander is a proffesional ice hockey player for the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Maple Leafs selected Nylander in the first round, eighth overall, of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.

And just recently, Nylander announced in social media that he is going to change his jersey number with a photo of him with a jersey number 88. "Making the switch ... what is old is new again" said Nylander "I've got you covered Leafs nation, go to @realsportstoronto to have your jersey recrsted" he added.

This is the third jersey number of Nylander as a Maple Leaf player. Nylander wore number 39 in his rookie season and switched to number 29 the following year, and now he will be wearing the number 88 this season.
