Use Your Faith
Hello everyone, happy Sunday to you all. Today, I want to talk on the topic "Use your faith".
At times, we do hear people say that with Christ all things are possible, which also means that we can do anything in Christ. Then we've been wondering, asking ourselves questions like.. Why did I lose that admission? Why didn't I get the job? Why are things so difficult for us? We prayed for someone but yet still the person died. That's the same situation the disciples of Jesus found themselves. They were so bothered till it reached the point where they asked Jesus a question.. "Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed at that moment. Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?” Matt. 17:18-19 NIV.
Before they asked this question, they must have done exactly what Jesus has been doing while he's casting out demons. Actually, it's because Jesus knew what they didn't know. That's why he responded "Because you have so little faith" Matt. 17:20 NIV. In other words, anything is possible when you have faith. So if you prayed for something and it didn't happen, then faith wasn't applied. That's because faith always work.
Remember Jesus said, "Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Matt. 17:20 NIV.
Don't come back and say "well, I said it and it didn't work". If you do that, you're trying to tell Jesus that he lied. He didn't say when you speak to the mountain "go", watch and see it go. He said, when you speak to the mountain "go", it's gone. So you rather act as though is gone. You rather talk like though it's gone. When you have faith that is as small as a mustard seed, you can speak to a sick man and he receives healing immediately.
However, Let's take an orange for example, look at how small the seeds are, then look at the kind of tree it grows. This proves that the orange seeds has great potentialities to grow such a big tree. Jesus never lied to anybody. When he spoke, it's absolute reality.
We need to know that Jesus gave every born again the same measure of faith. So it's your responsibility to grow your faith. Because we fail to grow our faith, that's why we pray a lot on things we were meant to speak just a word.
Remember Jesus said, "But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking." Matt 6:7 KJV.
Don't think God answer prayers when we repeat words, No! He answers when we have faith.
Moreover, we shouldn't be talking about our troubles and pains, but we should rather talk to it with faith. We shouldn't be crying over our problems, we should talk to them. That's why he gave us mouth to speak. And believe Jesus, when you speak to your sickness with faith, it disappears immediately. He said nothing is impossible with faith. So have faith whenever you speak.
