Abandoned Asylum Photoshoot!
Photoshoot in the Kirkbride Asylum in Fergus Falls, MN
I had the opportunity to do a photoshoot in the abandoned Kirkbride Asylum located in Fergus Falls, MN this past December of 2015! A local model saw I was in the area for Christmas and asked if I would be interested in doing a photoshoot in the old building as she knew someone who could get us access!
The Asylum first opened in 1890 and is no longer in use. It does not have heat or electricity anymore... so the day of the photoshoot the indoor temperature was about 20 degrees Fahrenheit and we were allowed to be in the building for one hour. Due to safety reasons we were only allowed in one area of the building.
