More CLint Eastwood.

Clint does pretty much his typical style of performance in this movie and doesn't seem overly pushed with his acting. The film is helped by John Malkovitch who does a very good "bad" guy, add to that the direction of Wolgang Peterson and you end up with a film that is actually above average. This means that if you have some spare time and nothing else to do, then you could watch this.

We have Frank (Clint Eastwood) that is a secret service agent nearing retirement. In the movie he was one of the agents assigned to protect John F Kennedy on that fateful day in Dallas. The current president is being stalked by a former CIA assassin (Mitch) who also has an interest in Frank.

This turns into a cat and mouse between Frank and Mitch, with Mitch telling Frank that he plans to kills the president. Mitch feels betrayed and the CIA want to deal with the situation themselves. Frank feeling as if he failed JFK is not about to fail another president and will do whatever it takes to stop Mitch.
