Yelling into the wind won't make it stop raining.
It's been raining around here for about 2 weeks. It doesn't usually rain very much in this part of town
It's been a big surprise. A bad surprise.
I'm not one of those guys who says boy it would be nice if it rained so that the grass can get a drink.
I might be if it never rained but, we get our fair share.

This is just too much though. Two weeks of nothing but rain.
Every now and then the Sun comes out but then it gets cloudy again and begins to rain just when you least expect it.
Every time you've got plans that involve doing something outside then the rain comes and makes it all wet.
Well there's no point in getting mad at it.
It's currently sunny outside and it looks perfectly normal. It definitely doesn't look like it's going to rain again, but I know if I decided to go for a walk right now there's a good chance that I would get splashed on.
Rain, rain go away.
I've still got stuff to do today.
It was like that in early summer. Rained for the longest time. It was good for my garden though. I think Tennessee is in for a good bit of rain around Monday from Hurricane Florence. Can't say I'm looking forward to it. I'm preparing my ducks to have to be cooped up in their pen if bad winds come our way.
It's definitely not a good time when you've got stuff to do. Must be interesting with the ducks.

I grew up in a temperate rain forest here in Alaska. It was either raining or snowing :) I feel for you!!

STOPI can sympathize. We've had more than normal amounts of rain for a month and now the hurricane is about to dump torrential amounts more down on our already saturated ground for possibly a week ! We are going to need Moses here to get through some of the flooding we're going to have. ha ha
when i lived in PA... i felt the same way - go away rain!!!
(although i ALWAYS loved thunderstorms!!!)
but now - in Cali... its nice when the rain comes cuz we get 300 days without it LOL
