WHO AM I
Who am I?
They say am Jedhen from Eden
Is that really me or an identity covering
Who I really am?
This I cannot answer
Because even I cannot tell
Everything I know is what am told
But its not just me alone,
Its all humankind
Who really are we?
Everything we were told by
Our parents and the society
Is it true?
Why do we do what we do?
Why do I wake up in the
Morning get ready and go to work
“Just to fit in”
Fit in to what?
To the society its said
And why would I want to?
Because everybody else does
And when I questioned what am told
They call me a fool
So now I can’t say it out
But write all down
And at the end of it all
The key of existence is not ours
It belongs to him
Whom we cannot see
To do what he please with it
May he look upon me with favor
And grant me many days to answer the question
