Loving Others Before Yourself
I want to talk today about how important it is to love others, family, friends and even enemies as the greatest reward comes from forgiving them and trying to teach them about to love each other.
My name is Bishop Petri Olavi Huhtanen from Ecumenical Order of Christ. When i was much smaller. In the first grades in small countryside school, I was bullied there by others and could not understand why they did that until later, society was not ready yet to talk about bullying in schools then in the early 1980's. I have forgiven them.
1 John 4:7-8
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
John 13:34-35
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people have loved you, you also are to love one another. will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
1 John 3:15-16
Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.
When our Lord returned as promised he gave the commandment again to as to Love God, Love each other which we the Ecumenical Order of Christ uphold today.
Yeshua’ New Commandment :
John 13:34-35
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples if you love one another.”
We live on earth to learn how to treat other people and as our Lord came back in 2011 we don't have much time anymore and many people need to ask forgiveness from God and accept His son Lord RayEl. God is love.
Matthew 22:37-39
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.”
