Love Thy Neighbors

 

Hello, I am priest Chris Therrien and today I would like to talk about loving your neighbors. In the bible are multiple verses about loving your brothers and sisters. Yet in today’s world, we see that hatred is acted upon much more than the Lord’s commands. Is it so hard to love one another?

Mark 12:31
“The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. ’There is no commandment greater than these.”

Luke 6:31
“Do to others as you would have them do to you.” 

John 4:8
“Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” 

These are only a few verses on the topic. When Yeshua was here 2,000 years ago, he made it clear law to love the Father and love each other. He again reconfirmed this in 2011 as he returned as Lord RayEl. The world would be a much better place for everyone if people could set aside their greed and differences and just work in unity as one.

I hope this short sermon has been insightful to you. Think of the Lord the next time you want to do something terrible to someone. Or the next time you want “revenge” or something juvenile. Be the better person and hold his commandments. Love God and love each other. In Lord RayEl’s name, amen.
