Oh Nigeria!!
Here comes another celebration of independent day
It's been 365 days since I last celebrated you
All these days passed and I have nothing to add to my grateful list
I have wished, hoped and prayed
I realised that my wishes make no difference
My voice have no say
It only gets worst
The poor gets poorer and the rich richer
The leaders are after their selfish aim
We preach unity but act towards division
The innocents blood are shed without remorse
How much older do you want to get
If you can't break through while you are young
How much more when you walk with sticks
Why wait for grey hairs to become wise
Who would celebrate you when we are all dust
You are a blessed Nation
Your soil flows with milk and honey
Your children are exceptionally talented
What exactly is your pain
I weep for my Nation
I am getting fed up
The pressure have surpassed my strength
The streets have become a scene for horror
What beautiful tale can we tell our kids
How much longer can we survive
HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY NIGERIA

Oh my u said it loud in your poems. But u know what, no matter how heavy the burden is we can always be strong and fight. Whatever country we belong then we must stand our ground die or live it must for the cause. Just keep on believing there may change or nothing, we are not alone and this is not our home.
