Every year in August, in the heart of the Czech Republic, the Hefaiston HelfŠtýn festival is held.
A symposium of master blacksmiths from all over Eastern Europe.
The place itself is amazing, a castle from the early 13th century,
one of the most beautiful in Central Europe.
It is full of works left by the world's greatest blacksmiths.
As in any festival before entering it you pass through souvenir stands, but here, no Rasta flags or smoke items, only stands with the theme of iron, many tools, some works of art.
The day is devoted to different competitions, making weapons, tools, jewellery...
My friend Ben participated in the tool competition by choosing to make a universal clamp with the spring of a construction truck suspension, 4 hours ago.
The operation is delicate but carried out with brio.
Later, the hammer blows resonate all night and compete with the music bands, metal of course.
