Anime Chibi Sketching with Watercolour Art #55: Step-by-Step Tutorial

First of all I want to greet all of you Viva Pit Señor Sto. Niño! And have a blessed day.

I draw an chibi anime character from K-on and it’s Ui-chan. They are famous band girls, and they’re called the Kagayaki girls. This anime series was air long time ago they had two season and an OVA. Sadly, they didn’t continue to season 3. I was waiting for it. Hmm maybe the last time I watched it that was high school days. Ui-chan is one of my fave character from that anime series, she was the vocalist of their band.

So here my drawing, I hope you will like it guys :)

Just grab this material:

• Paper
• Pencil
• Eraser
• Gel Pen (0.5 mm)
• Paint Brush
• Watercolour

Step-by-Step

Step 1. Sketching

Draw the pattern for the head.

Draw her eyes and mouth.

Draw the chicken hoodie,

and continue draw her bangs and her hair.

Then, draw the lower part— cloth and legs.

Step 2. Colouring using Watercolour

Paint first the hair.

Continue to her hoodie and socks.

Step 3. Tracing

Trace everything using your Gel Pen.

Step 4. Finishing

Add shadowing some parts and trace again using your pencil.

And erase the unnecessary pattern form her face. Make sure the watercolour is already dry.
