ACHIEVEMENT 2 @jboibest TASK : BASIC SECURITY ON STEEM

Introduction:
Good day Admins of Newcomer's Community and all Steemit users ,i am Happy that my ACHIEVEMENT 1 INTRODUCTORY POST have been verified successfully by @ngoenyi and i am indeed grateful.

Moving on to Achievement 2: Basic Security on Steemit.
I will be answering questions on basic security on steemit and the use of steemit wallet functions

Question 1
Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

Answer 1
Yes, i have retrieve all my keys on steemit, i downloaded and saved it offline on the day i signed up on steemit platform and i'm happy to say that my steemit account is safe and secure.

There are 5 steemit keys and 2 Tron keys used in seemit platform.

Steemit keys

1. Master key
2. Active key.
3. Posting key.
4. Owner key.
5. Memo key.

Tron keys

1. Tron public key ( Tron Address).
2. Tron private key.

Question2
Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?

Answer 2
Yes, i know these key functions and restrictions and will talk abou them below.

Master Key:
This also known as the master password or seed password, just as the name seed, i can be used to to generate and download the pdf document that contains every other keys, it is useful just incase you lost your pdf document containing Steemit and Tron keys, you can easily get them back.

Active key:
This Key used for monetary and wallet related actions, such as transferring token from one user to another user, tokens or power up steem up and power down Steem

Posting key:
This key is required log into your steemit social dashboard to perform social actions such as posting, commenting, voting on steemit platform, it can't be used as any other keys.

Owner key:
The owner key is used to reset/restore all our keys and also recovering our account if we misplace it within 30days. if the owner key get missing, recovering the other keys will be impossible. It is important that we keep our keys safely offline , especially this owner key.

Memo Key
Then memo key is used when a user wants to encrypt a message and also decrypting a message. I have read that this key is rarely used in steemit.

TRON Public Key (TRON Address)
This key is used for transfers, it can be given to anyone to send you tron token and also known as your tron address.

TRON Private Key
This private key has the highest authority on your TRON account. It is used for signing transactions of
TRON, such as transferring tokens,freezing and voting, you do not give this out, its for your use only

Question 3
How do you plan to keep your master password?

Answer 3
i will be keeping my master password in a personal flash drive including other keys and i will also print it on a paper and store among my personal files and also save another copy in a safe box just incase i loose any one i can fall back to the other.

Question 4
Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

Answer 4
Yes I do, with the following are few steps.

Step 1
Click the wallet button in your profile, click Steem and tap transfer

Step 2
Write the other steemit account username in the box provided

Step 3
Click the Next button then Copy your active key and paste it in the box available for it. then submit.
You have successfully transferred steem to another user

Question 5
Do you know how to power up your STEEM?

Answer 5
Yes i do, with the following steps

Step 1
Go to your steemit wallet, under steem ckick power up.

Step 2
Type the amount of steem you want to power up and press Power up

Step 3
Copy and paste your active key on the space provided on the next page and then you power up successfully.
