Steemit Newbie

Hello Steemians!!!

I am glad to have finally joined the Steemit community after a few weeks of trying to get an account. This site was introduced to me by my aunt @juwel. She has been telling me about this for a while now but I kept on delaying on creating an account because I was too indolent and it also didn’t help that I didn’t have the time then but now I do and I also got over that hurdle of laziness and I hope to remain inspired to sustain my being active from this point on.

To begin my series of posts, of course, I’ll start off with an introduction of myself. I am Joshua Brendan, a senior at Adamson University taking up Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering. I grew up at Paranaque, Metro Manila, Philippines primarily because my dad works in an airline so we needed to stay near the airport area.

I guess I could say that I love the arts in general but mostly leaning towards music, film, design, photography and a touch of literature as well. I like learning and trying new things and that’s why I think I love the arts because there’s so much to learn, to see, and it never really stops growing so there’s always something fresh to experience. I’m not as talented with creating artworks but I still enjoy doing it. I’m better with capturing and post editing photos. With music and film, I am fulfilled when I am up to date with new releases on the airwaves and the silver screen.

I also like sports especially volleyball and then badminton. I like volleyball more because it involves a great amount of team effort compared to badminton. You get to experience highs and lows with the team and all of you learn together and from each other which in turn can be useful in dealing with other situations in life whereas badminton is more on self-strength and motivation. I actually like sports in general, again I like trying new things so any sport I’d be willing to try as long as it’s not too extreme.

I ENJOY TRAVELLING BECAUSE WHO DOESN’T? + I love absolutely love animals!! (esp dogs. I have 2 dogs)
