There was time when our love was once alive
It's like we're fall going into winter when the leaves fall and it gets cold
So cold
Now we've grown apart

I depend on nothing and no one, but I once depended on you
We all been through some bad times, but why was my worst time with you
I put out my love and it wasn't good enough
It wasn't fulfilling enough

You needed more and still need more
I don't know what you're searching for, but I hope you find it
When I was with you my shades was on, but now my eyes are wide open
I think I found it but I can't speak too soon

It's all a matter of time until wounds are heal
It's all a matter of time until things work out and we're living our life to the fullest
I hope the time is soon
I'm sorry things have worked out this way, but sometimes we learn lessons through pain
