The REWARDS of RELAXATION
This was unquestionably the best Sunday I have had in a very long time.
I enjoy most Sundays but I think I already had it in my head last night -
that today I was going to do a whole lot of nothing – and let me tell you
(if you don’t know me well already)
doing “nothing” is NOT something that comes easily to me lol!
When I eventually DID get up this morning,
I cooked Jude and myself some breakfast
and no, I am not talking crap, here is the evidence lol...
– then I planted my rear end on the couch
and had a snooze - because, well... I could lol!
I woke up again at about 11am and went to have a shower.
After my shower I got back into pyjamas…
which pretty much set the tone for the rest of my day. Lol
“Ah! There is nothing like staying at home, for real comfort.” ― Jane Austen
I knew I didn’t have to cook at all today as there were AMPLE leftovers in the fridge for us to consume (to all those who don’t eat left overs… we CANNOT be friends lol). There was no lunch packing to be done as Jude is officially on holiday (or vacation if you prefer) so really speaking, there was very little for me to do other than stare at myself in my pyjamas and vegetate in some manner or another… lol
So, I sat myself down on the couch and thought I would take some time to catch up with what’s going on in the Steemit feed, because it has been a while since I have had an opportunity to do that…
my family in the #steemitbloggers server hog all my time :P
(just kidding guys)

It was just SO good to sit down and do nothing! Nothing that held any urgency at any rate…
As the afternoon unfolded I got wrapped up into the most FABULOUS conversation
about music preferences, the power behind music, all things mystical,
people and how they tick – or tock,
and a side of crypto talk from my dad on the phone…
The time simply melted away! It was WONDERFUL!
A little nonsense now and then, is cherished by the wisest men.” ― Anonymous
I have not felt this relaxed in a LONG time!
And I was NOT going to write today, but here I am,
writing about how I was relaxing and not going to write.
It is amazing what a small amount of reprieve
and inspirationally charged conversation can do for an individual.
It is not every day that we get to completely lose ourselves in time and conversation…
but when we do, it is fantastically rewarding!!!
If you want to conquer the anxiety of life, live in the moment, live in the breath.” ― Amit Ray
It honestly was the best afternoon!!
Until next time...

Good Morning.
@seyiodus.
Thank you dear :) and yes... leftovers RULE! ;)
Love this phrase, some time we do forget about that and it is good to get reminded time to time.
I know!!!! There is always just so much to do that taking time out for yourself often just becomes a zero priority action, which it really shouldn't be... we all need that time to unwind and relax.
Ya true, sometime we sprint and most of the time marathon.
lol so true!!!
There are times when I want, really want, do not listen to anyone.
There are moments, which I'm sure many of you will appreciate.
Some quiet time - just stop the unending chatter.
