Pyjamas and Productivity
I have always said that I love rainy weather because it brings out my ridiculously productive Gemini twin haha - and well, today was VERY rainy and yes, you guessed it... VERY productive! So productive in fact that I had to resort to my "standing desk" because the pain from sitting was becoming unbearable!!!!! I really DO need to do that more often! Anyhoooo - none of that actually has ANYTHING to do with what I wanted to share with everyone! - Except perhaps the productivity part, because I want a Noddy badge from someone.... anyone?! ;) And yes, that IS a REAL thing.... see!
Right, so back to the point. A little while ago - I decided that I wanted to stretch the reach of our Power House Creatives community a little more by adding an extension onto my BLOG. Today, I finally managed to kick that off - so I am super stoked, and it would appear that the members of our community that have already submitted their info are pretty pleased too :) (thank gaaaaawd!) lol!
Much like anything in life, it will forever be a work in progress, but I am just thrilled to have it up and running! When I decided to "re-brand" from @steemitbloggers to #powerhousecreatives, the idea was to incorporate the fact that we all have different tastes, different paths and so forth - and if, as a community - we are ever to truly succeed in the broader scheme of things, we need to embrace ALL OF IT!
I want to introduce our AWESOME COMMUNITY MEMBERS and the #Steem blockchain to the rest of the world, and integration on some level is ALWAYS the best way to start - but that somehow needed to be "humanised". Yes, I do that already by promoting it on THIS part of my blog as well as all over Twitter but the fact remains, I am only ONE person - whereas, WE are many - and we all know about the power in numbers - don't we... Once the world starts seeing REAL people that are authentic content creators inside AND outside of the blockchain... the hackles go down and curiosity peaks.
So needless to say, I am pretty thrilled with getting this off the ground! 15 members down.... only about 85 to go HAHA!!! I am looking forward to adding ALL our members to this, but am also going to celebrate with some wine now to what has been done thus far! To all of you that jumped on board straight away - thank you! All that fun talk on discord might have made me a little less productive today, but it was well worth it for the laughs! Seriously, I can't express my gratitude enough for the amount of effort you put in to promoting our PHC family literally everywhere. It really means so much to not only have the extra promotion, but more so the support in being able to put my own passions out there. Of course it is pretty awesome to have such a kick@$$ female leader to inspire me to continue to do my own thing! Thank you for all you do Jaynie!
