Uuuuhhh my jaw dropped seeing your picture. Here I am considering going shopping for a new snow shovel because my old one is worn out.
Drink up that sunshine @jaynie
hehehehe!!!! and we are heating up for no doubt a BLISTERING summer :)
sharks in the water, unwelcomed&hated by the natives, having to live in gated barb-wired bunkers... look great though.
SA friends told me about the dark honey moons that uninformed visitors experience...
yeah rainbow nation...
.... lighten up @sweecee - there is as much positive as there is negative in everything ;) I am 37 years old and have lived every single day in this beautiful town - I wouldn't change it for the world either ;) Cape Town is an AMAZING place that EVERY person should experience. :) Take care x
thank you a lot for your encouraging word. I know I am fully dark today :) and I would love to enjoy the coming summer in SA. It is just that those people I met, all white, middle class, fled SA with the support of their families, because they knew that they were doomed there.
Then I see recent political events, with ANC fully corrupt (the palace of the fat pig) and how white farmers are going to be hunt down, raped, and killed for their lands to be looted.
I have seen a few survivalist show with the white guys preparing for war when this day will come... I though they were dumb, why not accept the demographic and political shit and move farming in Russia? I mean i know the winter weather sucks, but at least, there is no problem having a low melatonin skin there... and there are vacations.
Good luck be safe :)
still alive :)
There is corruption and trouble in every country... don't let other peoples "hype" make up your mind :) Yes, it is a third world country, but it is still an absolutely AMAZING place.
You cant let all the details get to you... but then again... I have lived here all my life so I simply ignore it :)
Everything you have said is true... so I am going to say this... there must be something VERY special about this place if so many of us refuse to leave ;) keep that in mind :) xxx
This is so sad I would love to be wrong, because yeah, i am sure it's just splendid. what ever the demographic status, I would still be afraid to go in the water, I mean indian ocean meet atlantic... lots of currents > lot nutriments > planktons > lot of life > lot of things...
Do you go in the sea? surf? swim? Or you are land based?
we are surrounded by ocean :) Beaches everywhere... I dont really swim in them though. Although most people do :)
:D be safe XOXO.
Have to agree with @jaynie. I moved here 5 years ago by choice and love the country, the people and it's madness. And I hope those lines weren't from today @jaynie otherwise I'll have serious surfing #fomo as I haven't been in the ocean in waaaay too long. Like a whole week ;-)
It's such a beautiful place. I love it.
It sure is. Thank you x
Very nice photografy..In my country it was afternount..he..he..succes for you.@jaynie.
Awesome view, thanks for sharing.
It looks like sky and see are meeting.. nice picture.
Thank you very much :)
What a beautiful view to wake up to @jaynie have a great day
Indeed 😎😉 very blessed to live in such a stunning place
Good morning, have a nice day
That truly is a stunning view.
I know, right! :)
I need some of that sunshine! Coldish and rainy here, but a cozy fireplace and a lazy Saturday morning, plus a pure wool blanket and coffee - can't complain really. Someone mentioned sharks below, give the little ones a pat on the head for me I love sharks (probably a bit scary stranded out in open water, but with an exit or near the coast, I felt less threatened) Gold coast of eastern Australia it was always at the back of my mind, but I really want a pet shark, just a little one! The aquarium would be insane though...
