I was in charge of making the cheese plate for a friend's baby shower.
I'm glad I took a few shots of it before bringing it over - because this plate didn't last long in its put-together state :)
The cheese part of a cheese plate is important. Obviously.

But I do have to say that all of the other stuff on a cheese plate makes it oh so extra special.

I loaded this plate up with all sorts of nuts, charcuterie, dried and fresh fruit, crackers, cookies, and other little snacks.

These plates are fun and easy to put together - just build it up as you go! You might surprise yourself and create your own cheesy masterpiece!

Lovely, very well done. It would just be amazing if that plate showed up on my counter today. In my house, it would last about 5 minutes, maybe less.
By the way, I did a cheese plate for steemit last year, and it did not do so well. However, you have inspired me to try again. Maybe soon.
I'm sure your fam would make a magic trick out of this thing --- now you see it, now you don't! voila! I have to go look up your cheese plate now....if only steemit had some kind of user friendly search tool :)
Whoa, that's incredible, I bet if you brought that to a Super Bowl party, they'd probably turn off the game, great job!!!
That looks almost too good to touch, hope it went over well.
Thanks @bleedpoet - my friends were a little nervous to be the 'first one' to grab from it! haha
Wow! Beautiful plates ! And wonderful presentation, I love the dried fruit with hot Moroccan tea, I can't wait my friend.
Happy Sunday.
Hot tea and dried fruit sounds perfect!!! Thanks @creativewoman!
Sometimes when we don't feel like cooking, we put together a "cheese" plate for dinner. Veggies, crackers, fruit, salami, etc. and of course cheese, makes eating it an adventure. Love what you did !
Great idea - and it's different every time!!
That looks absolutely amazing! Is that a wine infused cheese below the center kiwi?
What a good eye you have! Yes it was a Shiraz infused hard cheese kind of like Parmesan :)
I should know better than to hit your blog at 1:00 am. It always makes me hungry! Looks delicious. 🐓🐓
Hahaa my apologies ;P Thanks @mother2chicks :)
I was amused! 🐓🐓
Yowza, what a platter of goodness. I'm pretty sure that would work well to take to the movie theater, and eat during a marathon session. What fun, you'd have no idea what you were getting each 'dip in the dark', but who would care. It all looks SO good. Thanks for sharing your latest gastro-exravaganza. I'm not sure I've ever left your site without then making a trip to the refridge on the way through the kitchen area.
Hahah imagining someone strolling into the movie theater with an inconspicuous platter of food is a great visual. Dip in the dark!! If I was hoping for a piece of fruit and then chomped into a pickle, I might let out a yelp at an inappropriate time in the movie!!
Now this looks like an awesome cheese platter! But my dad - @michaeljagoe - would yell at you for not labeling the cheeses... His biggest pet peeve is label-less cheese platters... Me on the other hand? I just dive in regardless of names.
Ahh! haha we've got a stickler on our hands! Next cheese platter will be fully labeled. Does @michaeljagoe have a preference on font? JK Thanks @jeffjagoe :)
Whoa, that's incredible, I bet if you brought that to a Super Bowl party, they'd probably turn off the game, great job!!!
Haha or the players on the field would stop in their tracks and look through the screen to see what all the fuss is about!
