Confidence is very important for success in a person's life. Talent is important, but confidence gives us the strength to put that talent to good use. What is confidence? It is the believe that you are valuable. When a person believes that he is valuable somehow, his confidence is sure to boost up. It is also about self-esteem. When you feel that you are being respected, you are sure to respect yourself. Confidence also comes when you feel that you could face adverse situations. Now, no person is born with confidence. They may have some genes that make them more talented, which eventually boosts up the confidence. He/ she develops or loses it as per the treatment and environment received. The personal choices that a person makes in his life also affects his/her confidence. Following are three things which could help you in not losing your confidence.
1.Try a quick fix. Look for things that make you feel valuable, that make you feel respected. For example, try to do very well in your exams, try to help others, try to answer questions in class, try to finish your work before deadline at office. These little things will bring you appreciation. And this appreciation is gonna boost your confidence.
Believe in your ability to improve. You find yourself not good enough in something? So what, doesn't matter. There is always chance to improve. Just believe in yourself that you are gonna make it. Believe that nothing is impossible and nothing is there which you can't do. You can always improve yourself.
Accept failure. Nobody is perfect. Everyone does mistakes and so does you, that's no big deal. Don't let yourself give up. Learn from your mistakes, bring improvements in yourself and don't do them again. When you will accept failures, you will take risks. This will bring your confidence up. Doing mistakes is very normal, and you are no god. Accept this fact and then failures won't look like a disgrace.
