The Rich are Getting Richer by the day while the Poor are Getting Poorer on daily bases, Isn't this True?

Research shows that as the wealth of the richest explodes, the rest of us are left stressed, worried, angry and with lower levels of life satisfaction and some of us are becoming Poorer as Time and the day grows.
Looking at this scenario Religious wise i.e in Islam Zakat is given to Uplift and Equate in some cases the number of rich within the society or Grow more Rich in the society but in our Generation People keep getting richer at the expense of the others who keep becoming poorer.
It is said that we should like Unto our neighbor what we like Unto ourselves and be our brothers keeper.

Mark 12:30-31 New International Version (NIV)

-30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’

• 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] There is no commandment greater than these.”

The Prophet said, "None of you will have faith till he wishes for his (Muslim) brother what he likes for himself."

• as such the Rich should always wish for the poor that position they have attained and give whatever they have willingly to the needy, give more of arms, zakat, charity, tides, offerings etc as the case may be.
