Kankemenag Bireuen, Drs H Tgk Zulkifli Idris MPd through Syariah Organizing Committee, Iskandar SHi told Serambi on Friday (19/1) that the Falakiah team from the Aceh Regional Office of Kemenag was accompanied by Kankemenag Bireuen and the ulama with special tools to measure the direction of the Kutablang Mosque , Meunasah Kutablang, and Meunasah Jaromah, Kutablang District. The team from Kankemenag Bireuen also measured the direction of Meunasah Gampong Raya Dagang, Peusangan Sub-district. Falakiyah experts from Aceh province, Alfirdaus Putra SHI MH explained that the result after the re-measurement was known that the direction of the mosque's direction was shifted by 6 to 10 degrees. "The direction of Qiblah in Bireuen and its surroundings is 292 degrees, when viewed with a compass from the north direction clockwise,". Falakiyah expert from the cleric, Abu Tanjong Bungong added, for the determination of the accuracy of the direction of qibla is done by using theodolit tool, and can also use other tools such as Mujayyad rubu and shadow of the sun shadow. Abu Tanjong Bungong also explained, in measuring the direction of Qiblah is very necessary precision so as not to shift. "It needs high accuracy to measure the direction of Qibla so as not to shift, because one degree only difference will shift hundreds of kilometers from Kabah," he explained.
