Anxiety

Feeling anxious is familiar to everyone. Sometimes it can be interchanged with feeling nervous. Before writing an exam, hosting a presentation or relocating, anxiousness it's normal to feel nervous, but when it becomes excessive, it might be due to mental illness. Anxiety becomes a disorder when it restricts you from living your life usually. Some types of anxiety disorders include:

Social anxiety disorder: This happens when you worry excessively about social situations, what people will say about you or embarrassing yourself in public.
Panic disorder: This is when an overwhelming fear or panic fills you randomly. Often a person suffering a panic attack starts sweating profusely and experiences difficulty breathing.
Generalized anxiety disorder: This is when an excessive feeling of panic and tension fills a person for what may seem like no reason.

Treatments

Medication: Most doctors prescribe medications for anxiety patients. Most times antidepressants help with anxiety disorders. Other anxiolytic drugs can help keep a patient with anxiety disorder calm.

Psychotherapy: This therapy concentrates on the emotional aspects which trigger anxiety. With the help of a therapist, you can figure out what triggers your anxiety and how to fight it. The cognitive behavioral therapy also teaches the patient to recognize and put a halt to thoughts which can trigger anxiety.

Depression

Occasionally we all feel sad, bored, tired or ignored. It's quite normal. But if these feelings become consistent and affect our lifestyle negatively, then there is a high chance it is depression. Depression is a mental illness which involves a person continually having a low mood with a lack of interest in most things. According to research, depression is one of the most common mental illness in the world.

Symptoms of depression

• Constant low mood
• Lack of interest in activities one used to enjoy.
• Low appetite and weight loss.
• Inability to sleep or excessive sleeping.
• Loss of focus.
• Slower body movement or speech.
• Thoughts of suicide.

Causes of depressions

Some causes of depression include:

Chronic diseases or illnesses: A lot of people who suffer from sickness and diseases become depressed.
Circumstances: Unfortunate circumstances such as divorce, breakups, loss of job and properties, can make a person depressed.
Drug abuse: Abuse of alcohol and drugs can push a person into depression.
Treatment
The good thing about depression is that it can be treated.
Psychotherapy: With the help of therapy, a person can overcome depression.
Support: Emotional support for loved ones go a long way in overcoming depression.

Anxiety becomes a disorder when it restricts you from living your life usually.

That's over anxious. I think, it happens when people dream more than what they can do, i.e. living beyond reality.

Then I am always over anxious. I always day dream.
