I am just here to share my limited knowledge that might help you the next time you're enduring the rush hour or gets a hard time finding a vehicle. Because, honestly, GrabCar can be really useful.
It's easy to book a ride. You just need to download the app and make an account. When booking a ride, you'd need to indicate a specific pick-up point and drop-off location. There's also a notes box where you can give additional details to the driver. After clicking the "book" button, the app would find a nearby driver for you. Once you found a driver, his profile would appear on your phone screen (car's model and color, plate number, driver's full name and most of the time it contains a driver's photo as well). So if you booked a ride during wee hours, you don't have to worry about your safety because you have informations about your driver. They also have an office that would monitor your ride, so there's nothing to worry about.
Sometimes they offer promo codes that you can use to book rides at a cheaper price. These promos are often limited up to a certain number of rides per day only, so you have to grab it immediately. Meanwhile, after every ride, you'd earn points that you can claim later on such as discounts on restaurants and fast-food chains. And one more thing, you can be assured that your convenience and satisfaction is their topmost concern. After every ride, they'd ask you to rate the driver and his service and would even give you the opportunity to leave your comments. I've hearf from a driver that if they receive a low rating, it would affect their incentives for the week. Another reason for them to give you a quality service.
